This marvelous little book, Types in the cases of William M. Cheney Los Angeles, was published by Dawson’s Book Shop and printed by Cheney in 1961 in an edition of 139 copies. It is a great example of the fine printing, coupled with dry humor for which Cheney was well known.

あれこれ調べてみたけれど、現在このことに関する明確な理由はないようだった。でも、確実にこの手の形は様々な人に意識的にか無意識的にか描かれている。というか、ここまでくっついているのだから意識的に描いているに違いない。その理由がないはずがないと私は思った。
